Urban -or street— photography attracts me greatly. The possibility of capturing the unexpected and the spontaneous moment, perhaps never to be repeated, is most provocative. If I let myself be carried away by the silence, the lost stares, the dispiritedness and the sadness of the street, the sensations are overwhelming. Sometimes I leave my home to wander the streets aimlessly to see this aspect of the city, which I turn into one of my photographs
